Q: How do you conduct business?
A: Most of my contacts are made over the phone and through the mail. A great deal of the work that I do is for people that I have never met. We talk on the phone and send things through the mail, and that seems to be the easiest way. That's not to say that I won't meet with you, but it is most often not necessary.

Q: How long does it take to get a track made?
A: My workload changes throughout the year. I am most busy from January to May, and least busy in the summer. Usually a one to two week turnaround is normal. I can also do one to two day turnaround, but, just like Fed Ex Overnight, that costs a little more.

Q. Just how do you make an accompaniment track?
A. The easiest way to answer this is by saying I use a computer and an electronic keyboard. I decide on the sounds (instruments) I want to use, select an instrument, hit the record button and start playing. I put in each individual part one-at-a-time until I have all of the parts recorded. A typical arrangement might consist of bass, drums, piano, strings, flute, oboe, clarinet, viola, cello, french horn, sax, trombone, brass, timpani, etc. Recording each part individually and layering the sections is time consuming, but it makes for such a great sound. I have literally thousands of sounds at my disposal using keyboards, drum modules, piano modules, samplers, software synths and sample CDs with unlimited midi and audio tracks available.

Q: On what media can I receive my music?
A: I usually record to CD, but I can record your music onto Cassette Tape, Compact Disc, or Mini-Disc. I can also provide you with a wave or mp3 file. Also, at your request, I can temporarily post an mp3 file to my website for you to download and burn to CD. I like to get payment up front for this (PayPal), but, if not, I'm sure we can come to an agreement.

Q: How do you ship?
A: I usually send all tapes or CDs through the mail by Priority Mail at no additional cost to you. Priority Mail is usually overnight to anywhere in Alabama almost every time.
